6:30pm TV weather forecast called for rain through Monday beginning this evening,
with rain already starting in the foothills, in Marysville, and north of Sacramento.
I looked outside and it was dry. I put on my skates, went outside, and saw rain.
I took off my skates and drove to the Farmer's Market to pick up some pizza and meet
skaters who may have missed the weather forecast. Rain stopped by the time I got to
the Farmer's Market. Tony and John showed up early, so I told them about the weather forecast
and they went home. Dean skated in, aware of the forecast and not expecting any skaters.
Then Maro and a boatload of other skaters more optimistic about the weather showed up,
so Dean led them on a skate. Feeling guilty about ditching the group, I went home,
put on my skates, and joined them as they skated by my neighborhood. We remained dry
throughout the skate (sorry we left you out, Tony and John!), but rain started pouring after 10:30pm.
